So, this is something a little different from me... It's still an archival content upload, but one you might not expect. During my younger days, I would look up shows and cartoons on YouTube when I am bored. I don't remember when I started looking up this particular show, but I do know when I knew the name of it.
But first, some backstory about why I am doing this... Today is day five of the Hindu celebration, Navratri. For nine days, Hindu devotees worship the goddess Maa Durga and her nine forms of incarnations. These are known as the Navdurgas during this time. Each of the days are dedicated to worshiping one of the nine forms of Durga, marked by a specific colour of worship. The celebration culminates in a day to mark the triumph of good over evil. The last day is known as Dussehra.
And that's pretty much the gist of it. I am many of the Hindi that... don't celebrate Navratri. I know that might sound like sacrilege, but hear me out. I did not know about Navratri until searching up this particular show until I recently did some research. I just don't know much about it enough to celebrate it over the course of 9 days. I reserve my heritage celebrations for Diwali in October.
