In S. Korea, all able-bodied men aged between 18 and 28 must serve in the country's military for about two years.
Last year, the country's parliament passed a bill allowing the biggest K-pop artists, such as BTS, to delay their mandatory military service until the age of 30.
Women are not required to serve, but may join the military only if they wish to.
However, recently, there have been calls demanding women in the country to perform compulsory military service just like men.
