Anders Sandberg:
1. With cryonics becoming more and more likely, we should embrace it as a leap of faith in science
2. We are already extending our lives, it is just that the extension is slower than our rate of ageing
3. Hopefully our rapidly growing understanding of the nature of ageing and age damage will start to bear fruit - in the next 10-20 years so we might see more effective treatments for ageing
4. I think cyronics is a worthwhile pursuit – whether it will succeed or not is hard to say, but it makes sense as a last resort
5. I would expect reanimation to become feasible somewhere after 2050
