Should you prestige before the mid-chapter update now that BHVR has increased the prestige reward?
358This is so stupid and convoluted but I really hope I got my point across. While it's extremely exciting that they boosted the prestige levels you'll get in the new system by having characters prestiged before the update, that is not your ONLY option.
A couple of you have pointed out in the comments that since the minimum amount of perk tiers to get 2 prestige levels is only 120, you could get by only having 40 tier 3 perks on a level 50 character, which is about 2 and a half pages. That's much more manageable then 4 like I said. That way you don't have to prestige that character, you get to keep all your addons and they will be boosted to prestige 2 when the update comes out, then you can spend the 20k to push them up to prestige 3. Doing this for all 28 killers would cost you 560k bloodpoints.
TLDR: If you want to have every single tier 3 perk unlocked for everybody when the update happens, prestige 1 everybody before the update. If you don't want to lose all your addons and offerings by doing this, you don't have to prestige them as long as they have 4 full pages of tier 3 perks right now, that will be enough to automatically boost them to p3 in the new system.
