D9VK is still in a pre release state, so graphical issues are to be expected. The comparison in this video is meant to show the amazing progress of D9VK and that is is already usable for gaming.
Further more I assume that all of the graphical issues visible in D9VK are due to not fully supported Shader Model 3 in DX9. This will be fixed in future releases.
