Mateusz Skutnik, flash game developer (Submachine, Daymare Town), hopped on my stream chat and asked for a general introduction to Adobe Animate. Skutnik is transitioning to using Game Maker Studio 2 for future games, but has been using Adobe Flash CS6 to make assets the entire time. In his development path he never made the transition to animate, so I threw this together on stream just to give him and anyone else new to the program a sense of the layout and basic functions.
