In this video I compare the pictures taken with electronic and mechanical shutter to find out how bad is the Panasonic G7 with 14-140mm lens (version 2) shutter shock problem.

All comparison pictures were taken on a tripod with self timer. I have also tested handheld pictures by taking 10 picture bursts with electronic and mechanical shutter and comparing best pictures. The shutter shock problem was as bad handheld as it was with the camera on a tripod. However holding the camera in hand produces less sharp images overall so the shutter shock effect isn't as prominent.
