Sierra 117... More like, Seattle 117 (Termacious Trickocity Visits Bungie)
153A few months ago we released The Destroyed Science Wing video and it got more than the normal amount of attention within the gaming scene. Since Kotaku, various subreddits and other news sources picked up video and shared it, word got around to some, past and current, Bungie employees.
A few more days later, after the video was released, Dan Miller, a long time Bungie veteran, reached out to us privately and invited us to take a tour of Bungie Studios. We took him up on his offer in a heartbeat! We had to plan for the trip to Seattle a few months in advance order to get our schedules lined up but we did it. On the days of July 18th – 21st nine of us traveled to Seattle, met each other face to face for the first time, got to pick the brain of the designer who created to levels we love to break and toured the game studio that brought our friendships together. Needless to say, it was one hell of a trip! We hope you guys enjoy this little “highlights” video we put together.
Once again, thank you to Dan for extending the offer in the first place and spending a few hours at lunch answering all our Campaign related questions as well as giving us the full tour. Seeing the whole studio and getting answers to some long standing tricking questions really meant the world to us. It was amazing that we got to live out a dream and meet the people who created the worlds we still find ourselves exploring to this very day!
This was such an amazing adventure for us, we can't say thank you enough!
