The Tower really surprised me. The first thing I noticed in this stage was that they've really beefed up the enemies. There are more big brute-types and types that use charged attacks compared to the previous stages.

It's been a bit since my last post. With spring arriving I've had some other projects I needed to focus on, but I'm making time to get back to Sifu (and Gran Turismo 7...).

While it didn't take me too long to make it through the upper levels of the Tower, the sub-levels were a little more tricky. Those brute-types provide a significant challenge, especially when they show up with a group of dancers and knife-wielders. I'm sure there are some things I could have done to make it a little easier.. (like use focus attacks.. which I always forget about..) but the challenge is something I enjoy.

There are a couple tricks I picked up here. The most useful for me was in the surveillance room: After entering, if you go right and into the corner without going down the stairs you can set things up so each enemy can be dodged and thrown over the rail.

Jinfeng, however, was not nearly as challenging as I thought she would be. It wasnt my cleanest boss fight, but if you keep your distance her patterns are easy to pick up on and her openings are long. She gives you plenty of time to run and get a few hits in.
