On a dark rainy night, a horrific betrayal takes place. Experience first-hand the brutality of those that you will ultimately seek to bring to justice. You dedicate your life to mastering martial arts to come out on top. The prologue begins as you enter a dojo, facing a single combatant in the entry hallway who introduces you to basic block and attack moves. Around the corner, six fighters come at you once you complete a dialogue choice. Blocking becomes your best friend here, as it’s easy to get overwhelmed by multiple enemies early in the game. Focus on one enemy at a time to thin their numbers, then proceed through the door on the opposite end of the room. Climb the steps to meet an ally who directs you upstairs and outside. In the next room, you encounter enemies, and after defeating them, you face your first boss encounter—a Sifu. The Sifu is aggressive and faster than previous enemies. Dodge and follow up with light and heavy attacks to bring him down. After dealing a killing blow, a child hiding in a nearby cupboard is revealed—your player character. You choose the gender character for the remainder of the game, purely aesthetic with no impact on gameplay.

Par une nuit sombre et pluvieuse, une trahison horrible se produit. Tu découvres la brutalité de ceux que tu chercheras finalement à traduire en justice. Tu consacres ta vie à maîtriser les arts martiaux pour triompher. Le prologue commence lorsque tu entres dans un dojo, faisant face à un combattant solitaire dans le couloir d’entrée qui t’initie aux mouvements de blocage et d’attaque de base. Autour du coin, six combattants t’attaquent une fois que tu as fait un choix de dialogue. Le blocage devient ton meilleur allié ici, car il est facile d’être submergé par plusieurs ennemis au début du jeu. Concentre-toi sur un ennemi à la fois pour réduire leur nombre, puis passe par la porte à l’opposé de la pièce. Monte les escaliers pour rencontrer un allié qui te guide à l’étage et à l’extérieur. Dans la pièce suivante, tu affrontes des ennemis, puis tu te retrouves face à ton premier boss, un Sifu. Le Sifu est agressif et plus rapide que les ennemis précédents. Esquive et enchaîne avec des attaques légères et lourdes pour le vaincre. Après lui porter un coup fatal, un enfant caché dans un placard voisin est révélé : c’est ton personnage joueur. Tu choisis le genre du personnage pour le reste du jeu, une décision purement esthétique sans impact sur le gameplay .
