Welcome back for part 2 of our tour! This episode focuses on some more generalized series lore and some popular fan theories. Also some just fun Did You Know? kind of stuff as we explore the larger part of South Vale and the two apartment buildings.

This gameplay was captured on original Xbox hardware, but modified for an "optimized" original capture. Using similar methods to the PC Enhanced Edition patch, the game renders in 16:9 widescreen without geometry errors. I did not fix issues like characters just standing off screen until they are supposed to enter, which is hidden in 4:3 and fixed in the EE by just zooming in. Just to avoid nonsense conversation, I did not "steal" code from the PC EE patch team. Although that patch does a lot more than I am doing here, changing values is not "writing code" and is just a matter of knowing what to change. The image used for this patched .ISO comes from my own retail copy, as do the sound and music samples (excluding a couple of bits that are from trailers for SH2). All of this is just for my own entertainment as an added challenge in making this video. I wanted to present it in the quality the assets were meant to be viewed, but not stretched or with glitches. If I do this for SH3 I will probably use emulation and capture at higher resolution. So sorry if the 480p bothers you, but it was a stylistic choice that I put a lot of effort into doubling down on.
