In this video, I'm comparing the Ending scenes in "Silent Hill 3" and "Countdown Vampires" horror games.
As you can see, these scenes are quite similar.
1) At first, the heroine acts as if being possessed by something
2) The male character is afraid and he thinks that heroine is going to attack him
3) But then she suddenly says that it's all just a joke
4) Then they get all lovey-dovey
5) And then the final credits roll
Countdown Vampires was released a few years before Silent Hill 3. Probably someone from "Team Silent" played this game and got inspired by its final scene.
