Silent Hill 1 Eclipse Key Locations:

To gain access to the 'dog house' on Levin St, you must first find the notes that Cheryl left for you as a clue. These notes are found on Matheson St, around the corner from Levin Street itself. Otherwise, Harry will not look inside the doghouse to retrieve the house key. This can be done before or after you retrieve the three keys.

►Key of "Lion" is located at the far east-end of Finney St, in the back of the police car.
►Key of "Woodman can be found in the alleyway connecting Bachman Rd to Ellroy St, behind the convenience store. Go through the gate signed 'Off Limits' and it will be next to a severed dog's head.
►Key of "Scarecrow" is inside a mailbox on the far South end of Ellroy St. The mailbox can be accessed by walking across a precarious wooden board.

This Episode's Triva:

The "Keys For Eclipse" all reference characters from The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, which is mentioned by Heather after examining a bookcase to which she mentions Alessa loved Oz.

There is also a theory that even the key's locations are references to the characters in the story.

The "Lion" Key being found inside the trunk of a Police car, and law enforcement being a symbol of courage and bravery due to the line of work which is what the Lion wanted.

The "Scarecrow" key being found inside a letterbox possibly representing an empty brain. The Scarecrow wanted a brain, and the mailbox is very thin and wood-like.

And finally the "Woodman" key, may represent the character who wanted a heart. This theory is at a push, but the key is located beside a dog's head next to a basketball hoop. Basketball is a very physical and cardiovascular activity that gets the blood pumping through your body, obviously, you need a heart for this :P But the dog could also represent the wanting of being flesh and blood.
