After cleansing the beacon on the Fief, I went back to the Tower of Penance because I know that I defeated a heretic but was not able to cleanse a beacon. I'm sure I missed it there.

And then I saw the signs on the elevator. There's a specific mechanism for going up and down. then I decided to go up from the base floor.

Lo and behold, there is the beacon.

Then as I was making my way back, I saw an NPC outside the walls after the bridge from the tower. It was Stomund.

There was a gate that can be accessed. I don't know if it was already there before but I for sure didn't notice it.

We are now at a new area. Seems to be the main hub of the Hallowed Sentinels

At the main entrance of the abbey, i encountered a boss, Abbess Ursula.

A mage type boss that deals significant smite and bleed damage. Also heals and teleports around the field.
