Frozen and broken into fragments a handful of friends find their life has come to an end but maybe there is an upside to all this. Before the fragmentation, Pinn was being pushed into adulthood and fast, with no plans of how to move forward he just seen everything coming to an end. So now that the world has been frozen in time, Pinn can take his time to figure out what he wants to do and spend more time with his girlfriend Kani before they part ways but she wants to push forward and return the world to how it was before. Pinn's world is going to end no matter what he does but at least he can make sure that Kani's life can continue.
