I gathered myself and a screwdriver and into the Silver Label Commodore 64 I went!

Steve Gray pointed out to me that the video I showed before did not have the usual and typical flicker of the early machines...

My first 64 had this flicker, and I know that it was sort of fixed...just make it flicker the same colour as the background colour and nobody will now it is flickering, but I am not sure what chip or chips were altered to fix this issue.

Input would be most helpful!!!

I wonder if Bil Herd knows which IC was altered?
