So here we are at last, 35 years, just over 40 games it honestly went by so quickly. I feel a little sad but I think this is likely to be the last time I cover Game Dev Tycoon unless there is a major overhaul mod or update. In the near decade since its release this little game has captivated so many people and inspired so many clones but none have really mirrored it success.



Originally requested shortly after its release in 2018 I thought I'd check the progress of the Over The Skyline Steam Workshop mod created by TajemmikTV It was due an update in 2020 but that doesn't seem to have occured yet. Theres a handful of elements I like but overall I don't think I am as keen on it as the previous combination of mods but the new events and Arcade Machines actually having a early strong presence does give it a nice boost over some of the other options on the Workshop.
