SIM UPDATE 4 is OUT NOW! | Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 | PATCH 1.16.2.0
713Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020's May 25th Patch 1.16.2.0 is here.
There are two steps involved here.
But before that, close the simulator.
1. Navigate to the Microsoft Store and Update the application there, this is roughly a 1 gb update.
2. Once its done, open the simulator that should give you access to download a larger patch that is approximately 5.75 gb in size, which is Patch 1.16.2.0.
Many fixes have gone into place in this patch that include Navigation, a lot of new fixes, live traffic, ATC phraseology
Weather has seen a good amount of fixed with reduced weather, live snow coverage, visuals, icing conditions, and many other areas.
Planes have seen several fixes for all the planes where the altitude interception, increased native induced drag, updates on flaps, stall, wing and fuselage under flight models, elevator AutoPilot with trim and many other areas.
Under Turboprop, there are many fixes from improved tools to prop drag, reverse thrust issues, fixes towards torque increase based on altitude and quite a last list of fixes especially under TurboProps.
Other fixes have been included as well with
Weather Radar that now displays precipitation instead of cloud coverage.
Contrail behaviors, Stability, reduced rudder authority, flight model handling for the Cessna 152 all the way to fixing the flight plan guidance.
Default mapping have been fixed for several yokes that is definitely good to hear.
Under the SDK Updates, there are several fixes from general areas to documentations to editors that matter.
