This is Salty Shores.

I've just reached perfect equilibrium while 'safely' extracting raw minerals.

I thought it best to extract all minerals and export them before moving forward with population growth. Sure, I could make a smelting plant, but that would create more pollution. I just want all the minerals out of here and I'm going to use the money to build the town of my dreams, my Utopia so-to-speak.

I'm using the Cities of Tomorrow Expansion pack to add a little futuristic flair to Salty Shores and I plan to make it's next-door utopian sister-city futuristic in it's entirety. Perhaps Salty Shores will turn into a distopian counter-part?

This game isn't prefect, but I love trying to master the systems and for some reason I enjoy being a little more constrained in how much space I have to build. It adds a puzzle element I enjoy.

I've put in way more hours into this game than I would like to admit publicly. I still haven't yet mastered making a really futuristic utopian ("rich") cityscape so I'm hoping this goes well.
