I hear it all the time... "Oh, that malware is too simple, it'll never work in real life."

It does. Simple malware still infects devices and still does harm. I am working on learning more, but frankly folks who bemoan how simple some of the malware I develop should see some of the dead simple stuff I've seen all over the place.
