4Alexandra Hospital in Singapore was proudly known as the principal medical establishment for commonwealth forces in the Far East" For 31 years it was the jewel in the crown of the Royal Medical Corps' until it closed in 1971. But now a group of former Army Nurses, or "QAs" as they were known, have returned to their old stomping ground. .
