Alright, so Civilization 6 got a new politicas system in it with Gathering Storm, and I'm here to say that with the single player, it's really, REALLY bad.

Now, I don't have a problem if one political side of the other wins out. My problem is that there is no diversity of ideas. All the AI players all believe in one side or the other. It's super dumb, and makes for a lack luster experience when it comes to world politics in Civ 6. There's never any tension in the political arena. Now, I also see great potential in this for multiplayer bribery and shifting of views. That will be for some interesting times.
