Skate or Die! was one of my favorite C64 games growing up. But not just because of the gameplay, but the music. In fact, I often used to boot up the game just to listed to the into.

Skate or Die! was developed by EA in North America, with Rob Hubbard writing the intro song. For it's PAL release, the intro was tweaked to keep it's playback speed the same, despite the difference in frame rate. This introduced an interesting side effect if you mismatched a particular version with your machine
