My current strategy, unoptimized.

I'm planning out a speed run of .hack//G.U. Vol.2//Reminisce, and a minor part of it involved careful study of each of the 2nd form avatar battles. I'm still looking for improvements I could make that wouldn't have to do with pure luck (i.e. if it doesn't use this attack you gain a few seconds...), so comment if you know something. I left in the drain cutscene at the end of battle just because I wanted to.

I was trying to create another no shots video, this time for Gorre, when my berserker attacks revealed a deadly flaw in Bo's defense; he can be knocked around by the scythe and caught up to just like Fidchell. While Bo cannot be stunned by shots, it makes little difference because of Gorre's poor defense. The timing appears to be slightly more lenient, not to mention that the whole process is much faster with Gorre than Fidchell. Since Bo is the one that gets Protect Broken, Data Drain is as easy as when using Skeith's final form in Redemption; Bo immediately calls Saku, which leaves Gorre helpless long enough to end the fight without any retaliation. I still wanted a no shots video, so I combined no shots and no damage for this clip just to have some fun with it.

For those interested in pure speed (if this weren't a no shots vid), there's only a couple seconds worth of savings in comparison to the previous video (unlike how Fidchell loses time). However, because of how Protect Break is achieved, matching that time is a lot easier than before.

Ya know what else is interesting? This beats my original video by three seconds. :D
