Skipping SEVEN BOSS FIGHTS in Mega Man 5 (NES)
793Here's a cool glitch I showed off during my recent Mega Man 5 live stream! During the segment with the eight robot master rematches, you can use Super Arrow and some well-timed slides to clip through the wall and skip directly to the Dr. Wily battle, allowing you to skip seven of the eight boss fights.
In the room with all the teleporters that take you to the robot re-fights, defeat Napalm Man. He's in the capsule on the right side, middle height. After beating him, you'll return to the teleporter room.
Now position Mega Man on the ladder next to the broken teleporter so that the top of his right boot aligns with the top of the platform on the right side. Equip Super Arrow and shoot one into the right wall.
Immediately run and jump to stand on the Super Arrow, and while adjacent to the right wall, slide to the left THEN INSTANTLY pivot your slide to the RIGHT. If you're fast enough, Mega Man will clip through the wall and slide directly into Dr. Wily's chamber, which skips SEVEN of the eight robot master rematches!
