Skyforge - Archer's Amazing AOE Damage
51Actually, Archer is not commonly played. Damage wise is lacking compared to top tier powersets like Kinetic, Witch or Berserker, but one of its strong points is with no doubt the AOE damage.
AOE wise, Archer is one of the best. Here I show my favourite place to DPS with Archer. This is right before the third boss of Isabella Attack, where the tank usually grabs the aggro of the whole area and allows you maximize your damage. The stream of numbers is for sure beautiful.
The rotation is easy. I open up with Wildfire Arrow for applying burning to all the targets, then I target lock one, use Electic Shot for adding a new DoT and then one Aimed Shot on that electrified target. With Voltage Arc symbol, using Aimed Shot on any target affected by Electric Shot witll Apply Electric Shot to another two. Then you unlock your target and use another Electric Shot on any target. You will have 4 targets affected by Electric Shot and each one will affect 3 more.
Once you have done that, I use Piercing Shot for removing burning (and getting a 600% damage increase to Piercing Shot used with Easy Target symbol) and directly go into your Ultimate, which will apply burning again with every shot. The damage is guaranteed!
