Skyrim 2016 Best Graphics - Tutorial Addon: DynDOLOD Awesome distant terrain and LOD!
167DynDOLOD stands for Dynamic Distant Objects LOD.
DynDOLOD is a set of tools based on TES5Edit and TES5LODGen to automatically create a Skyrim mod based on the load order which adds distant LOD for objects to Skyrim. In short: great looking (dynamic) distant terrain! :)
I did create this tutorial addon because there is one thing that is not looking so great when finished the ultimate 2016 graphics tutorial. LOD and distant terrain. There are basically 2 reasons for this:
1: Distant terrain pops in pretty fast to keep performance. If you have ugly LOD textures, the popping in transition looks really bad.
2: Vanilla LOD is pretty poor. Distant good looking LODs need to be generated, which we are going to do with DynDOLOD.
With this tutorial addon of DynDOLOD, we should be able to fix this! :)
