Quick video on running Skyrim on the M1 Mac using the CrossOver (Wine) method. This video addresses the issue to do with flickering textures by disabling DXVK and enabling WineD3D which is a new feature of CrossOver 21. We also install the CrossTie into the Steam bottle to fix the audio issue. You could also simply install Skyrim into its own bottle to begin with if you prefer. Skyrim also runs well on Parallels without the graphical issues and may be easier to mod through a virtual machine. However it may perform worse as it has to run through a virtual machine.
