Previously, as he started traveling to Ivarstead, Davilas killed a second Dragon and cleared out Valtheim Towers, a lair of bandits. Now, he will continue down the main road to Ivarstead.

Along the way, he discovers another standing stone, the Atronach Stone. This sign absorbs a portion of incoming spell damage and increases overall Magicka, but it slows Magicka regeneration.

Also, he runs into some Stormcloak soldiers. From them, he discovers the objective "Join the Stormcloak rebellion". I think not.

After getting some Archery training from Faendal, Davilas can get promoted to Level 10. The player earns the trophy "Adept" for reaching Level 10. Davilas increases his Stamina. Under Heavy Armor, he picks up the second Juggernaut perk, which increases armor boost from Heavy Armor to 40 percent.

He meets an Afflicted Refugee, who gives him the miscellaneous objective "Find Kesh at the Peryite Shrine". The Peryite Shrine is near Morthal in the west.

He also meets Faldrus, who is on a pilgrimage to the Shrine of Azura in the northeast near Winterhold. If the Shrine of Azura isn't already marked on the map, Faldrus can mark it for you.

Near Ivarstead, Davilas runs into a Courier. The Courier hands over the Letter from Jarl Siddgeir of Falkreath. Reading this adds the objective "Speak to the Jarl of Falkreath". Falkreath is south of Whiterun.

On the bridge leading into Ivarstead, Davilas meets a guard who says that the Dawnguard is reforming to hunt vampires. Hearing about this starts the quest "Dawnguard". The leader of the Dawnguard is in an old fort east of Riften, which is in the southeast of Skyrim.

In the Vilemyr Inn, Wilhelm is an important person to talk to. Asked about the barrow just outside of town, he advises Davilas to stay away. When Davilas offers to check it out, the objective "Investigate Shroud Hearth Barrow" begins. Apparently, a man named Wyndelius began investigating it a year or so ago, but he was never heard from again. When asked about work, Wilhelm gives him the bounty "Kill the dragon located at Northwind Summit". Northwind Summit is east of Ivarstead.

At a mostly demolished house, Davilas finds Narfi. He is clearly not in good mental health. When Davilas asks if Narfi is okay, the objective "Ask Wilhelm about Reyda" begins. So, Davilas must talk to Wilhelm.

In the inn, Davilas asks Wilhelm about the story with Narfi. This completes "Ask Wilhelm about Reyda" and starts "Locate Reyda's Remains". According to the map, they appear to be in the river to the east. Wilhelm also warns Davilas about the cave named Geirmund's Hall on the island to the east. This plots Geirmund's Hall on the map.

At the sawmill, Davilas finds Temba Wide-Arm, the mill runner. When asked about her bear problem, she issues the objective "Gather 10 bear pelts for Temba Wide-Arms". Time to kill some bears and loot their pelts. They seem to be plentiful around Riften to the east.

Davilas also uses a Grindstone to improve one of his Steel Swords. Definitely time for a better weapon.

Next time, Davilas will investigate the miscellaneous objectives around Ivarstead.
