Previously, Davilas arrived in Ivarstead and took on some miscellaneous objectives, including one that involves Shroud Hearth Barrow. He will now work on a couple of these objectives.

First, he fast-travels back to Whiterun to sell off some dragon loot to Belethor. With an increase in Speech, he reaches Level 11. On level up, he increases his Magicka. He also goes to Dragonsreach to claim the bounty for slaying the bandit leader at Valtheim Keep. I want to purchase Breezehome, but Davilas cannot afford it yet.

Davilas fast-travels back to Ivarstead. For the objective "Locate Reyda's remains", he investigates Reyda's remains in the stream southeast of Ivarstead. He searches Reyda's satchel and takes Reyda's Necklace. The objective becomes "Bring Reyda's Necklace to Narfi".

Davilas delivers Reyda's Necklace to Narfi, along with the bad news. Narfi rewards Davilas with a few alchemy ingredients.

Then, Davilas begins to "Investigate Shroud Hearth Barrow", the burial mound in the northeast of Ivarstead. He is there to check out some weird happenings and find out what happened to the last person who investigated the place, Wyndelius.

Not far inside, he finds a copy of "Before the Ages of Man", which increases the Illusion skill.

Soon, he encounters Wyndelius, who looks like a phantom until he is dead. In Wyndelius's lair, Davilas grabs Wyndelius's Journal. Reading it makes it clear that Wyndelius's explorations did not go well. The objective becomes "Bring Wyndelius's Journal to Wilhelm".

Davilas delivers Wyndelius's Journal to Wilhelm in the Vilemyr Inn in Ivarstead. Wilhelm rewards Davilas with the Sapphire Dragon Claw. This will facilitate Davilas's further exploration of the barrow.

Davilas continues delving into Shroud Hearth Barrow. He uses the Sapphire Dragon Claw to unlock the appropriate door near Wyndelius's chamber. The solution is the moth on the outer ring, the owl on the middle ring, and the wolf on the inner ring.

Continuing deeper inn, look out for plenty of traps and draugr.

Farther in, a draugr holds the Shroud Hearth Barrows Key.

Next time, Davilas will continue exploring Shroud Hearth Barrow.
