This is video #131 in my playthrough of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition on the PlayStation 4. I am playing the game vanilla. This game has been rated M for Mature by the ESRB. Previously, Davilas began the Civil War quest line on the Imperial side. He carried out the quests "Joining the Legion" and "The Jagged Crown". Now, he will continue the quest line and deliver a message from General Tullius to Jarl Balgruuf of Whiterun for "Message to Whiterun".

After resuming, Davilas enters Dragonsreach in Whiterun. Some dialogue takes place when he delivers Tullius's message to Jarl Balgruuf. Then, Balgruuf tells Davilas to deliver his axe to Jarl Ulfric in Windhelm.

Then, Davilas fast-travels to the Palace of the Kings in Windhelm. Within, he deliver's Balgruuf's axe to Ulfric. Ulfric returns the axe. Balgruuf should expect ... visitors. Now, Davilas must return to Balgruuf.

Davilas fast-travels to Dragonsreach in Whiterun. A scene takes place up in the situation room. Then, Davilas delivers Ulfric's "message" to Balgruuf. Now, Davilas must "Report to Legate Quentin Cipius".

Davilas reports to Legate Quentin Cipius. "Message to Whiterun" complete! The next quest, "Battle for Whiterun", begins. Now, Davilas must meet Legate Rikke at Whiterun's outer walls and help her defend the city.

Davilas leaves Dragonsreach. Outside Whiterun, he finds Legate Rikke, who is motivating the troops. Then, the battle begins. The Stormcloaks will first attack the barricades, then the drawbridge. The goal is to defeat all the attackers.

When enough of the attackers have been defeated, "Battle for Whiterun" is complete. Davilas must "Report to the Jarl of Whiterun". Also, the quest "Reunification of Skyrim" begins. Davilas will have to report to General Tullius.

First, near Whiterun's gates, Davilas listens to Jarl Balgruuf's speech before reporting to him.

Then, Davilas fast-travels to Solitude. He reports to General Tullius at Castle Dour. Tullius promotes him to Quaestor and rewards him with a Daedric Sword of Fire. The next major objective is to regain the Pale.

So, Davilas fast-travels to the Pale Imperial Camp west of Dawnstar. As he arrives, a dragon attacks the camp. Bad move, dragon.

Davilas reports for duty to Legate Rikka. She issues the quest "A False Front". She needs him to intercept a Stormcloak Courier running between Nightgate Inn and Windhelm and procure some orders. First, Davilas needs to meet an innkeeper and convince that innkeeper to help him.

To get to Nightgate Inn, Davilas fast-travels to Silverdrift Lair and rides east. When he arrives at Nightgate Inn, he talks to the innkeeper, Hadring. Davilas can persuade, bribe, or intimidate him to reveal information about the courier. Money loosens his lips pretty easily. The Stormcloak Courier's location will now be revealed on the map.

Davilas catches up with the Stormcloak Courier near the Forsaken Cave. After defeating the courier, Davilas appropriates the Stormcloak Documents, which he must take to Legate Rikke.

Davilas fast-travels back to the Pale Imperial Camp and delivers the Stormcloak Documents to Legate Rikke. She adjusts the documents and gives the Forged Documents to Davilas. Now, Davilas must take the Forged Documents to Frorkmar Banner-Torn, the Stormcloak commander in Dawnstar.

Davilas fast-travels to Dawnstar. In the White Hall, he delivers the Forged Documents to Frorkmar Banner-Torn. "A False Front" complete! The man even pays Davilas.

Afterwards, Davilas fast-travels to the Pale Imperial Camp and talks to Legate Rikke. She issues the quest "The Battle for Fort Dunstad". The objective is to join the men attacking Fort Dunstad and take the fort for the Empire.

Davilas again fast-travels to Silverdrift Lair. This time, he heads west.

Outside Fort Dunstad, he meets with his unit. Then, they move in to take Fort Dunstad. They must defeat all the enemies.

Eventually, the Stormcloaks fall. "The Battle for Fort Dunstad" complete! With this, the Empire has regained the Pale. Davilas must report back to General Tullius.

Davilas fast-travels back to Solitude and reports to General Tullius in Castle Dour. Tullius promotes Davilas to Praefect and issues him an Ebony Shield. Now, the next objective in "Reunification of Skyrim" is to "Regain Winterhold Hold". Davilas must report to Legate Rikke at the Winterhold Imperial Camp east of Dawnstar.

Davilas fast-travels home to Lakeview Manor to manage his inventory. Next time, he will work with Rikke to regain Winterhold Hold.
