Skyrim Roleplay "Garth the Unstable #1"
1This will be a roleplay LP, which is to say that except for the introduction, everything I say and do is to be in character. I will be speaking and acting as Garth would. I am playing on Expert level.
Garth is not mentally retarded per se, but he has an emotional age of perhaps 6 years old. He is not a hero, he is not a warrior, he is a milk-drinker. All he wants out of life is to find a good mommy... I mean wife... and settle down and adopt orphans. He's a nice guy, a good guy, but not a particularly brave guy. And he has a really creepy relationship with a doll named Betty, his imaginary friend. His very bestest friend. A friend he talks to, and which he hears talking back.
Although Garth is a tad cowardly, he also seems to have some sort of "Incredible Hulk" thing going on, and when the Retard Strength kicks in, you don't want to be in his way.
Don't make Garth angry. You wouldn't like him when he's angry.
This video is an hour long, and I am sorry about that but I am not sure it will be different next time. I usually edit my videos significantly, and hourlong sessions get pared down to 30 minutes. With Garth, pretty much what you see is what happened and there isn't any downtime when I am doing my own thing. I am not doing my own thing, I'm doing Garth. ;) Thus, the next videos may be just as long as this one. I never play less than an hour at any given time, and when I am doing Garth, I am doing him the whole session.
Darth Kitteh is on hiatus because once this idea came to me I had to put it into practice immediately. Sorry to cut off after 7 episodes. If I get bored with Garth I may return to Darth, but right now I am having a lot of fun with my kindly if warped Nord. :)
