I myself spent many, many hours modding. Hundreds, maybe thousands. But, was it worth it? I mean, sure, there are essential mods like Unofficial patch, new weapons, armors, perks, magic redone, these mods can greatly improve gameplay, but what about visual? I have installed only Realistic water two mod, Static mesh improvement mod and Skyrim Flora overhaul. And JK Skyrim for expanded settlements. Everything else is vanilla.
