As Skywalker confronts his inner self about that dream he had, and his previous conversation with Davi about vengeance, he findss Chris who overheard about what happened to skywalker from Brok, Kratos, and Davi, and decided to check on him. Of course Chris might not change Skywalker’s mind about his new goal. But what Chris can offer is peace of mind by letting him visit his home, the Lands Between.
