This is a reflection on The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (retrospective, analysis, review maybe?) discussing the need to leave comfort behind to find your place in the world.

Skyward Sword is a really special game to me despite its flaws because of its story, characters, world, and even... the motion controls (?!). On the other hand, it's also a bit of a mess with repeated content, awkward pacing, the scope of the world, and even... the motion controls.

This video acts as a sort of finale to my series on traditional 3D Zelda games, discussing the last game to have traditional dungeons, a companion character, conventional story cutscenes, a playable instrument, and a variety of other tropes which would be re-imagined in Breath of the Wild.

I hope you'll join me for this look back to see how far we've come. Thanks for watching!
