S.L. Narayanan's positional understanding too good for Akobian | World Teams 2022
170Two players really shone brightly for team India in their win against USA - Vidit Gujrathi and S.L. Narayanan. Narayanan has been one of those players for India who hasn't been invited to super tournaments, but has made steady progress and is now rated 2673 in classical chess! He is very strong. This was aptly shown in this game where he completely outplayed the very experienced Varuzhan Akobian with the black pieces. Narayanan's handling of the knights was very commendable!
