SL1 NG+6 Ornstein And Smough
8Fighting Ornstein and Smough at SL1 and NG+6 (7th play-though, hence the 7 great fireballs). difficulty is caped at NG+6 not NG+7 so this is the hardest they will be.
The hardest part of this fight by far is Killing Ornstein. if he does his running attack at the start of the fight you can very easily get 4 hits on him as i did and drain half his life before Smough gets near. then its just waiting for a chance which can be a while. He's long running or quick dash attacks are good because they usually make a bit of space between the two of them. Once Ornstein is dead smough is very easy. you can cheese him with bolts from behind a pillar or just bait his jump attack as i did and counter with a jump attack. This leaves you plenty of time to roll away from his slam.
Using the based reenforced club +5 chaos (but fire is just as good, its only a few points extra damage for chaos.) and the light crossbow.
Expect to die a great deal.
