Currently the mod contains the following:
Slab Workbench (compatible with the Fast Workbench mod)
Slab Furnace (compatible with the Fast Furnace mod)
Slab Noteblock
Slab Tnt
Slab Chest (and trapped)
Mod support:

Tinkers' Construct (when installed adds slab variant of all table types. (including the tool forge)
Just Enough Items (JEI) (when installed allows you to use the + to insert recipe)

How to install Slab Machines Mod:
You have already installed Minecraft Forge.
Locate the Minecraft application folder.
On windows open Run from the Start menu, type %appdata% and click Run.
On mac open finder, hold down ALT and click Go then Library in the top menu bar. Open the folder Application Support and Install Slab Machines Mod for Minecraft.
Place the mod you have just downloaded (.jar file) into the Mods folder.
When you launch Minecraft and click the mods button you should now see the mod is installed.
