You wouldnt believe how many times I got hit once because of faulty jumps or power attacks....
But yeah, the way to beat this boss, you want to go behind him, and attack him four times, force him back, then the second time you force him, back, he will jump at you, then you want to jump kick him and then he will jump to the other side in a repeating pattern if you keep attacking him, then immediately when he is at 3 bars left, attack him around 3 times, and then he will do the roll-out attack, which you want to go immediately down (or up) and away from him. Attack him 3 times at the most, if you attack him 4 times, he will end up hitting you with his retaliation attack. Since he has longer attack range than you, you want to jump kick him so you can lure him to do more roll-out attacks, but do not be aggressive, just be cautious and try to jump attack him once and jump away from him. There is also a thing with bosses, i call the rule of fourths, is that if you hit a boss four times, it will do an attack after 4 times you hit it, and will show some physical sign to indicate that attack.
