Slay the Spire Crossed With Turn Based Tactics / Re:Night Demo
0Re:Night is what you get if you crossed a Slay The Spire like deckbuilder with Turn Based Tactics mechanics. You lead a team of 3 characters, and you have a deck full of cards like in Slay the Spire, except the deck has cards specific to the characters. The battles take place on a small square grid map, where your characters and enemies are placed. You draw cards into your hand each turn and then your play the cards to do things in combat either to your enemies or to your characters after moving them on the grid. You traverse a map in each act in the game that has nodes that offer different things such as a shop, random events, a standard fight, an elite fight or an assortment of other things, very much like Slay the Spire. Along the way, you can upgrade your deck, get equipment that modify your characters, get items that you can use in combat. At the end of each act you fight a boss before progressing onto the next act.
I only completed the first act of the game in this video, although it seems like the demo might have more content after that. Feel free to get the demo for yourself and try out the rest of the game.
