CLARIFICATION: (Spoiler Alert...)
During the boss fight, The Guardian when in defensive mode inflicts a damage for every attack. I made 5 separate attacks with my shivs, so I should have taken five damage, although I could have blocked one of them (and played a card to block another). The outcome does not change -- the Silent kicked serious Act One ass.
