In 2009 a user by the name of "Victor Surge" created The Slender Man on the Something Awful forums.
In 2012 Parsec Productions catapulted The Slender Man beyond its humble origins and into the public eye with the free release of Slender (now known as Slender: The Eight Pages). The simple game terrified thousands with its disorienting forest setting and constant harassment from The Slender Man.
In 2013 the incredible success of The Eight Pages allowed Parsec Productions and Blue Isle Studios to create Slender: The Arrival. The Arrival comes stocked with better graphics, new scares, and an original plot. Step once again into Slender's Woods.
