SlimKirby's 24-Hour Randomizer Stream - November 9th, 2019 (@ 8:00 AM EST)
25It's finally time to give out a date, and although I know this is a bit later than this weekend (which was the other date I was thinking about), I can safely say I will be ready for action on this one and ready to take on the challenge of multiple randomizers in a short period of time! So join me November 9th for an action-packed day of Randomizer!
Basically, how this will work, is I will be playing straight through all 8 randomizers, each one using a particular set of settings I've decided on. Once I complete one of the games, I will take a small break to get things ready for the next one (maybe get some food or go to the bathroom if needed), and I will not stop streaming until I've finished all eight games.
I've gone through these randomizers a number of times and am pretty familiar with some of the nuances that can happen and how long they can take. Although a combined overall time of my fastest runs is under 24 hours, at this current time, my average is around the 26-hour mark, which means this will take longer than a full twenty-four hours. However, I am ready for the challenge and the extra work and am willing to push through a few extra hours if necessary.
Of the randomizers I've played, I've picked my eight favorite ones for this stream, as listed in the video. I've also done Pokemon, Fire Emblem, and Link's Awakening randos as well, but wasn't sure of settings in regards to Pokemon, Fire Emblem takes way too long, and Link's Awakening isn't incredibly stable right now, so I decided to exclude those for this stream. Maybe in the future when I've had more experience with running through them, I'll feature them in some way, but I don't feel comfortable with them at this current time. I would also like to add other randomizers to my resume at some point as well, so if I decide to make this rando-marathon an annual thing, we could see some other candidates in the future!
I'll have more details in regards to a schedule and some other things I'll feature throughout the stream later on, but for now, I have the date and I hope you guys are ready to rando!
