SlowPCGaming Not a game review. Is your Facebook experience this slow?
0Imagine this being your daily experience trying to type on Facebook! For reasons unknown to me my PC will run its fan full bore when I try to type or edit posts on Facebook. Sometimes while playing relatively simple games the PC bogs down to a crawl. Then moments later it clears up as if there was never a problem. I've had this PC fixed and cleaned up as recently as December 2022. A clean slate with an addition of 8 GBs RAM to max it out at 16 GBs. I figured since there was only a few years left until Windows 10 isn't supported anymore I'd better get the most out of it with maximum RAM allowed. The hard drive is working fine. Nothing that I can pin down to what might be causing it.
But if it turns out that a quad core 3.2 GHz 64-bit PC isn't fast enough to use Facebook for sending texts to people then I may have to stop using Facebook. At least until I can afford a Ryzen 9 with 128 GBs RAM, 2.5 Gb LAN, 5.00+. GHz 16 core CPU, chassis & power supply for 12 HDDs. I mean why on Earth would I need to go to that far an extreme to text people?
