SM64 - Overextended Seesaw Platform Glitch (Part 1)
I show just how far the seesaw platforms of SM64 can tilt. Mario is able to tilt them exactly 270 degrees, at which point the platforms are perfectly vertical and Mario is no longer able to stand on them without undoing the tilt induced so far. The reasoning behind this is that the pivot is on the bottom of the platforms, and so once the platform is rotated 270 degrees, it will be completely vertical on the WRONG side (ie. the side that you don't want to stand on). I cannot use the same trick I used when it reached 90 degrees, since at that point the platform was completely vertical on the CORRECT side (ie. the side that I continuously stood on to tilt it). Interestingly, if the platform is tilted beyond about 260 degrees, then it will instantly revert to its default position once Mario gets off of it. So the first time through, I show Mario tilting the platforms as much as I can without exceeding the 260 degree limit. On the second time through, I show Mario exceeding the 260 degree limit to show the platforms instantly changing positions.
