Throwing the Bike forward gives opponents more space to punish you and has worse frame data than a throw Down, so Down is usually your best option. The initial hitbox is further from Wario when facing left, so facing left is safer and has more immediate range.

A thrown Bike has the same knockback regardless of percents. Tilt throw Down is better for defense, while Smash throw Down is better for offense.

A lingering hitbox will reliably neutralize a Bike being thrown at you.

While running, pivoting, or doing a Run Turnaround Cancel, you can pick up the Bike and maintain momentum, as well as face the opposite direction if you want. This makes you more mobile and unpredictable.

Jab, Forward Tilt, and Down Tilt pick up the Bike when it is nearby, disabling those inputs. Using Wario Neutral-B anywhere near the Bike will also start to eat the Bike before the grab comes out.

Characters are put into hitlag freeze if they hit the Bike. Because of this, attacking the Bike can cause moves to have more cooldown than normal.

The Bike will disappear by itself after about 27 total seconds of being unused.
