Ao Kuang is one of the newer gods in Smite (SmiteGame). He is the Dragon King of the Eastern Seas. He is categorized as a mage for simplicity, however I'd classify him as a magic-based Assassin.

Ao Kuang can take a few minutes to become active and get his killing abilities online, but once that happens you best watch out. In Smite, Ao Kuang is often banned from tournaments because of how easily he can kill off anyone and walk away safely (either by his teleport, or his ultimate).

Ao Kuang (Smite) Skills:
Passive: Kings Sword:
- Holds up to 3 charges and these regenerate out of battle. Charges are consumed on abilities. If a Charge is consumed, then that increases the damage of the ability.
Water Illusion:
- Teleport forward in stealth, leaving behind a watery form. Ao Kuang then is in stealth for 5 seconds (unless damaged). He can activate this ability again to explode the water form for extra damage to nearby enemies.
Dragon Call:
- Ao Kuang (Smite) summons 6 dragons to his side You may activate this ability again to shoot them all out, but its generally best to just use attacks to increase the base damage of your attack (consuming one of the dragons). This coupled with attack speed makes this ability extremely useful.
Ultimate: King of the Eastern Seas
- Ao Kuang selects a target in close range and knocks them up into the air. If within near-death threshold, then Ao Kuang transforms into a dragon and executes them. Ao Kuang can then use this form to drop down and cause damage to enemies near the drop site or drop down far away as a form of extra escape.
Extras:
- Smite made this character very well. Ao Kuang has 2 escapes, but really, 3. He has water illusion, his ultimate, and the ability to shred down any enemy as a form of escape with his stim (Dragon Call). Though at that point Ao Kuang can probably kill them off, anyway.
