*** Pros & Cons ***

+ Small and compact but powerful
+ Sturdy construction and material
+ Very affordable

- Cheap, flimsy hand strap and belt clip
- Can be stiff and hard to open at first (needs to be broken in)

*** Verdict ***

This collapsible mini baton may not be the best self-defense tool out there but at $25 it's a solid budget choice. It lends itself to being carried as a backup or when you don't want anything larger on your person.
Based on my test it performs quite well and is durable enough to withstand heavy use (or abuse).

Before deciding to carry this or any other self-defense tool, please check your local laws and make sure you won't get into legal trouble for doing so.
And if you do plan to carry it, don't fall for a false sense of security. Familiarize yourself with the baton and practice with it.
