Today we will be talking about a smithing perk/refine exploit
that i found recently from playing a full smithing playthrough.

I have a video called the ultimate smithing guide and it is 30 mins of all
the info i learned, including this exploit. I decided to make this exploit
its own video because i know some people want to see the exploit and not a
whole 30 minute video.

Now lets get straight into this exploit:
(Im going to read out the exploit with some background gameplay playing and then show you the exploit visually!)

So this exploit lets you refine a lot quicker and a lot more effectively.

First you will need some companions, any will do for this, the more the better.

Second get to a town and enter the smithy.

Now as you see in the refining screen, your main character and your companions will have the basic smithing abilities and also ones that are learned through the smithing skill like all the steel maker, efficient charcoal and efficient iron maker perks.

Now with this exploit, you can use one characters smithing perk like steel maker 3 with all your other characters(even though your other characters do not have that certain perk learned.

First choose the character with the perk and then choose the ability, now if
you switch to another character and do not click on any new ability, the
previously selected perk will still be selected and then you can use your
new characters stamina to perform another characters ability.

This is a huge help for the efficient charcoal perk since even my low
level companions and even ones that picked efficient iron maker, can still use their stamina to get 3 charcoal for 2 hardwood unlike the basic ability to make one charcoal out of two hardwood.
