In this video editing tips video, I show you how to add some polish to your video edits and smooth out some various effects.

This tutorial primarily focuses on Adobe Premiere Pro CC (I use the 2017 update), though After Effects CC is required for one of the tips. Similar principles will apply to other NLE (non-linear editor) video editing programs, but the way you go about it will be quite different.

Frame Blending can make sped-up footage and timelapses look a lot smoother and nicer. Here's an example of a smooth timelapse with frame blending - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sEz8Q9GGeiU

For scaling and motion tracking, adding a little AE Motion Blur can make the movement look a lot more polished and natural. I use this effect in a LOT of my videos.
